Can I restart in a new Industry(Replied)

I currently have Entertainment industry, can i change to catering or something??

So sorry, this is system setting , you can't change your industry as long as you created, but you can rechange  your company name by using Company Rename  Application. any questions, welcome to contact us!

I dont see that I ever got the chance to choose industry, when I created my account... where do you do it?

Nope, I clicked on an ad from another game and it started immediately creating my account here without a chance to choose industry.

I just went to try another server and I see the chance to choose... so it must be a bug somewhere to leave the default for users who come from other sites

I think you would have had the chance to choose, the industry... You would have seen this page and given the option to click any of the industries like below:

He's right, I started playing through an add too and was kicked in the game without being able to choose anything besides my name and secretary.

I would like to add my voice here, I never got the option to choose a business type.  Or a server, for that matter.

If it helps to find the issue, I clicked on an add from Facebook.  I was immediatly taken to s31 and was not given the option to select a business type (it defaulted to Entertainment).

I can create buisinesses on other servers and can choose my business type, it seems to be just when using the link through Facebook.

(EDIT to add:  I have no desire to change my bus type.  I wouldn't have chosen Entertainment, but my business is built around the pros and cons of the industry.  I just want to point out that many of your new players really are not getting to choose.)

A few other quirks that seem related:  You do not get an 'address' if you sign up through facebook, and you do not get the "Offically Incorporated" milestone (I totally thought that was weird when I started my 2nd biz on another server).  You also do not get a Mod Card, which TBH annoys me more than not being able to change my industry - I can't set my age or city.

I had a chance to change my forum ID from number to word at the very first time I come to the forum.
I registered from FB and I can not choose my server or personal info neither, I have to ask the support team to give me a card to change it... And when I take the trip in the tourism zone, I got nearly nothing back, 4 times with nothing and the 5th one I got 5 trumpets, now I stopped doing that for the sake of my little TNC would be waist for nothing at all...

I never was given the opportunity to select industry, either - logged in from FB, automatically set to the Service Industry.

would think that they give you the option to choose which industry at the beginning. when i first started, i was able to choose. later on, when new servers came online, i was always put entertainment. i was never given the option to choose.

i also didnt get to chose, i really dont care too much, but its hard to find people for the lvl 1 tree, when every1 is the same, well almost every1

I created an account about 4 months ago and it also didnt give me an option. But I like entertainment so its ok =)
