Shop SUP solution Suggestion(Replied)

Well many people are back and forth on the SUPs in the store, so I think this soution might be agreeable. Everyone rushed to the accellerated servers, and we love the 72h of SUPs every 2 hours. So in exchange for 10% of the Shop revenues of the props, I suggest the following:


Motivated: Your employees are motivated to contribute heavily to company growth! For 24 hours you receive SUP's every 3 hours.

Pricing: 1 Day = 80g, 3 Days = 225g, 7 Days = 450g, 30 Days (60 SUPs!)= 1799g

Innovative: Your company and its employees work diligently to create new ways to expand revenues and growth! For 24 hours you receive Store Upgrade Points every 2 hours.

Pricing: 1 Day = 225g, 3 Days = 649g, 7 Days = 1349g, 30 Days (180 SUPs!) = 5399g

Invigorated: Determined to achieve new and unparalled business heights, you make the ultimate investment in your company and its employees! For 24 hours, you recieve Store Upgrade Points every hour.

Pricing: 1 Day = 649g, 3 Days = 1749g, 7 Days = 3779g, 30 Days (540 SUPs!)= 13499g


This normalizes the SUP gain, increases user activity, and levels the total SUP generation. This also increases need for accelleration gold (We can discuss a cut of that revenue later xD), but provides an equal and level playing field among all players and takes advantage of the current WORKING SUP distribution mechanics.

Then with gold they can double the sups from everybody else, that's another kind of imbalance

A lot of the game users are young college students with no money. Those of us who do have money do not like to invest $300+ in an online game with no end financial gain. The price of gold should be significantly decreased in order for this idea to work, bur it is a great idea.

The other solution would be to encourage every game player to invest at least $99 into this platform. The thought behind this is to publicize a "buy one get one free event", or something along that lines.

Realistically, the sale right now is $99 = 990 Gold +120 Gold and Package. Why not pursue a more attractive sale like: $99 = 990 Gold + 990 Gold. This could be done once a month, or bi-monthly.

Benefits for Dovo Game = Each player, in all servers, is more likely to spend at least $99. That's a nice revenue stream.
Benefits for players - Everyone will spend more gold, making the game more competitive, and possibly want to buy more gold.

Just a random thought! Keep up the good work.

I am glad to see most people are liking this idea.

I also have to disagree with tunglam, this is extremely balanced and keeps everyone competing on an even playing field.

Here is why the gold ratios were chosen. As the gold price begins, you can enjoy 2 extra SUPs at 40g/per, and your SUPs are going to come slightly faster throughout the day. This gives both more SUPs, and faster upgrading all around- but limits the SUP distribution the entire time. For purchasing 540 SUPs, and the luxury to have them arrive every hour, you should pay more than 40g/per but instead as an incentive to purchase the price is lowered below 25g/per.

If BTO didnt need the revenue so badly, I would have priced a lower entry scale with a higher end price- but they honestly need all the financial support they can get right now. Someone investing 13499g in their corporation is a serious player with serious aims. But even if they drop the gold, they arent going to rocket ahead of you. Their progression will be normalized within the bonus, lengthening the time it takes for that non-paying player to fall behind.

I really like this idea, it's giving a reasonable edge to paying players, while not letting it turn into a pay-yourself-to-the-top game.

Also, i disagree with the general idea that all players that spend gold do so to be better then others. I spent gold on this game because i like the game and to even the odds. I would have quit the game if it would have been ruled by overpowered crazy gold-paying players. In that case I wouldn't have payed $64.

It is a good idea and nice job on the description. I think that if people want to use gold to get SUPs more frequently then they should be able to do it. This gives people a chance to upgrade stores and companies much faster and so it can be very helpful.

I also agree with michael265, if we got bigger bonuses when we buy gold then I think more people would actually buy gold and the profits from the game would not really be affected.

I'm loving this idea! I think that would attract more people to buy gold!

I like the overall concept of the first suggestion, but then again, the people who can't buy gold would miss out.

To balance it all, why don't you take the idea of 990 gold + 990 gold to encourage people to buy gold so that they can afford to buy the said SUPS?

I really like this idea as well.
However not good for non-gold buyers.
SUP is the only thing gold buys and non-gold buyers get the same.

So its should be the same rate

If this could be done with gg as well, I'd be alot more neutral. But as a gold only option, I completely disagree that this is a good idea. Yes, gold buyers should be able to give themselves an advantage, but really, the SUPs from gold packages and from winning events should be more then enough.

SUPs are the main pacing mechanic in the game. Asides from pure luck, or spending ridiculous amounts of money, theres no way to gain more SUPs then anyone else. Beyond the beginning stages of the game, TCN is mainly just a statistic, you can buy any TCN item with a bit of saving, and it doesn't really require any effort. Employees can be poached, or trained up eventually through persistence or gratis gold. Giving the option to essentially buy SUPs will only make the game worse as all the non-goldbuyers leave since there won't be any areas left where skill and hardwork can compete with money.
