2.        With the increasing of your Stores' business, establishing Level 2, Level 3 Stores in Downtown Zone and establishing Stores above Level 4 in Commercial Zone will gain more income.
3.        If same type of Stores were opened in the same street, Stores will be increased the value of competition. Also, competition will have a direct impact on the value of income.
wow, never knew anything about it.
I'll move my stores immediately

thx a lot

ad_har,

Make sure to follow the other advice in this thread regarding store placement.  If you follow what you quoted there, you'll get a zone effect penalty from any level 2 stores that are in downtown zones.

MODS:  CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EDIT THE ORIGINAL POST, SO PEOPLE AREN'T CONFUSED?!?

@enksemail
thanks for reminding me

I've read a post from Toothpaste. and that's exactly what I did.
I moved my stores (still in lvl 2) from Commercial Zone (at first, I thought by opening a stores in commercial zone. it would gain more revenue) back to residential zone.

but, it seems that some new players haven't read this guide too.
because there are other stores (still in lvl 1) on my block.
hope they'd read this guide soon.

2 questions:
1) My company is a large-sized corp. and I need 8 perfect level 2 stores.  I currently have 7 level 2 stores, but I have 12/12 stores in total.  How can I create the other one?  Do I have to remove my perfect level 1s?  That seems backwards.

2) I built a couple of my stores in the wrong zones and i am trying to move them back to residential.  However, the "present" button on my moving van page is not lighting up.  Also, i tried to go to the individual store pages and click move, but it says I am at the limit for the amount of stores I can own.

Thanks so much for the help!

1) You need to "remove" a level 1 store to build more. (The remove button is at top right corner inside each store info page.) This will become more familiar as your company grows bigger, and eventually all your level 1's will be taken down as long with level 2's.

2) Let me inform you the correct way to move stores. Click into any of your store, then at the top right corner you should see "Move to" button. Then, click that and confirm to use a moving truck then select the Zone you want to move in. The "present" button is used to give the item to another player, which you can't do unless the item was bought with Gold.

MattyF,

Yes, I know it's painful to lose the time and store upgrade points you put into developing those perfect stores - but your level 2 stores will have a basic revenue 2x your level 1 stores, and your level 3 stores (when you get there) will have a basic revenue 2x your level 2 stores, etc...  In the long run, it is worth it to remove your level 1 stores.

Don't do all of them yet, though.  Just the 1 you need to upgrade your company, then do another 1 when you go from Large to Limited.

When you remove stores do you get any money back from them? Why can't we sell them off to other players?
