How about instead you can choose a focus for your secretary that would give bonuses on various parts of the game. Like revenue, production, raw material, execution, management, etc.

Although I'd rather see ones that gave something that couldn't be found another way. For instance a secretary upgrade that increased your employee's confidence regeneration, and another one that gave you a 1% bonus we being impeached or elected to a committee position. Or one that increased your chances for funfair activities, there are plenty of things they could do that just aren't available a different way, and it would make each player a lot more unique even if it's just in minor ways.

My idea is to give the different Secretary types slightly different strengths and weaknesses, so that choosing one won't be based purely on looks.  Not quite as much power as mentioned in the above post though.  Maybe one can be very efficient, be she's late to work sometimes.  Another could be very organized, but unmotivated and lazy.  Another could be a hard worker, but is always screwing up.  lol

Seeing as the cuteness of the avatar is such a draw to the game (it got me here!) I was vastly disappointed that it's a pretty worthless part of the strategy too, and I did mention it in chat once or twice before.

I think this is a great idea, and kudoos to those who keep adding to it!  It still needs a bit of work, but this could become a great part of the game!  Good job, and shame on you, Jesus! XD

well i agree with taz999uk but i woud prefer if  the secretary woud give  bonuses like what she does (example:fetching newspaper-->bonus 10% on gaining 1exp when player uses *reading newspaper*) exp coud be random or it woud  increment on your lvl the higher the lvl the higher exp rating.
so far i've been noticing that you get a bit of TCN and a really LOW percent to get any exp out of it or is jsut my bad luck

Those are all a great start, but the expectations of the modern administrative assistant aren't sometimes that low.  Many times these necessary but under appreciated people work their way up through the education process to achieve middle management and beyond and this game might very very well consider incorporating (pun semi-intended) this element into the new version.

I think there should be an element in there that has you pay to upgrade and pay to keep her on your payroll just as you do with your employees.

For instance if you want max benefit you have to pay a certain amount extra to get it. You could also choose what you want for the bonus such as 1 extra store upgrade a day or 5% bonus to your revenue or 10% increased production in your factories or oil rigs.

Love your idea and would add more true to real life aspects to the secretary. So far we know the secretary forgets to give you notices and do routines so you have to make sure she completes those functions like some secretaries in real life lol. So it would be great if more aspects was added to her like sociable and lovely would give loyalty boosts , elegant and stylish revenue boost, dedicated and oriental decreased routine times..etc

Great idea, there should deffinately be a reason to choose between the secretaries rather that just which avatar you prefer. Like one giving a small bonus on npc negotiations or an increased chance of getting an item in travelling.

And what makes you think that isn't already how it works? Large companies heavily rely on good secretaries, moreso than many think. Upgrading the secretary may be a poor choice of words, promotion sounds better.

Could there even be different ways to promote one, to enhance revenue, production, resource generation, chance to get good employees, etc?

What if we could collect secretaries like employees with the different levels, etc. Maybe also add to the corporate chart. The different levels and experiences could do certain jobs.
