i totally agree with this statement Dark,
how do you actually win in this game ... or become the best and really kick a** lol. the game may become boring/meaningless cause of this - you cant capture a players city or territory etc ...

other than that i totally agree with 'Mordeaths' statement/post, the way the legion leader/president thing is set up is really unreal - fail !
if you have a BAD member, vulgar .. abusive .. inactive .. not a team player, the founder/leader of legion should be able to kick., i don't care what their cp is. its my/our legion, i created it !

if you have a BAD leader who abuses his position/powers, i like 'the vote him  out of leadership role' idea.

therein lies the 'balance' !

No no and no. No presidents shouldn't have more power. Trouble arising in the legion and i will be using this in a group term since people made that legion every president calls there own.

Pretty unjust thinking right here, how about a time/silver refund for all the work the TOP 30 people you think need to be kicked out. Simply leave and form a new legion, leave it to the others because i bet the argument is it all started with a group of friends and some STRAY player is now locked in the legion, for good Reason i'll say.

Hope the list gets extended to everyone who has put in over 500,000+. They are your top general's of your legion that have helped out the most and is there legion they chose to work on just as much, if not more then any president , probably.

Up-rise? The uprise will be legions formed due to theft, and that will be the outcome of this change.  I mean real theft, those players might have dumped serious coin into it and try and take that away for voice or opinion is absurd.Hope this sways all votes to no, high level legions only affect everything in the game....talk about starting from scratch at end game, oh no

Personally I think Presidents should be given power, but power that is more for the legion itself.  (meaning no extra silver, RP, items, etc.)  they should have the power to prove that they are worthy of being a leader of a group...
  Something as simple as the ranks.  President and governors should be given signs or different color to their username to show their rank in the legion.  Or may be the President can choose those who are powerful or loyal to the legion (whatever pleases him/her) to have a rank that shows people that those chosen are respected.  

  Just a something i thought would make the legion more interesting to people who join.  Most just join the biggest legion for its Techs, which is fine, but many dont fight in LW to help the legion progress.  I mean if you're not gunna gain contribution points then uhhh you're obviously not "CONTRIBUTING".  I think the ranks alone would cause people to want to be there interacting with the legion and not just taking up space in it.

although i'm sure it has been brought up before.. but i believe a reward for the tiers should be implemented.. like this:

Pres:30k silver daily
Gov:25k silver daily
Brigadier:20k

i can't remember the rest off the top of my head but u get the idea.. it can work with boxes as well..

Pres:2 silver boxes
Gov:1 silver box

so on and so forth.. because at this rate it is meaningless to really even be pres.. when u have 2 other people who can do all the same functions as you except kick people lol

Wait, so it's meaningless to be president currently, so you want to give them more perks?  Kind of contradictory ;)

Right now the legion president doesn't really do a whole lot really, I don't think they should get a lot of perks for being president.  Maybe for the president let them farm from the legion farm 10 times and the govs 8 times each, etc.  That would be minor, but nice.

Im a legion prez and i would think if not doing a good job, legion should have a vote to degrade me if not im not doing a good job.
It would be nice for prez to decide what cp gained in LW goes for what legion techs.

i think the cp bit should still be there but with an application for ranks. say like you have to have so much cp before you can apply for the rank and the presidents appoint them

A legion should be like family, yes in-actives should be dumped for active players, but the president shouldn't have all the power, i believe the system is set perfectly.

Being the leader/creator of a legion I believe that at the very LEAST legion leaders should have full administrative capacity to boot long time inactive deadwood from the legion hierarchy which is precisely the problem my legion is facing now. Long gone players rapidly self promoted themselves into ranked positions and then left the game.

I see no reason why legion president should have his/her hands tied waiting upwards of a year (as my legion has) for old ranked deadwood to simply fall off out of the top 31.

Please dovo help administrators to actually administrate, otherwise we're nothing more than LW button pushers.

I think that there should be a vote when a new prez or top 31 is picked if they get to choose. Either have set limits on how the selection process is done or do it bye vote.

In theory it's a good idea but many players have alts and you can't tell if it's an alt or not unless the player told you it's his alt. it's pretty easy to fake the results of voting.
