When promotion is over 50, there's a chance to receive false promotion.

Fake promotion ususally occur when you do the highest one, so using Standard Promotion seems to work for me so far + using Standard instead Promotion Method. So having standard on both might work. I need more time to confirm it but I know the tutorial we started with warned about using promotion too much and too often, and using the same one over and over.

Okey people, I have finally figured it out.

- Until you reach 50 popularity, you can do large scale promotion every day
- After 50 popularity, you can only do small scale promotion every day
- When you reach 70 popularity, you will have to switch to tiny scale promotion

Note though: the switch from 49 to 50 popularity is very delicate, if you do large or standard promotion at 41-49 and end up having 50 popularity or more, there is a chance that you will get the over-promotion news next day. My strategy is to end up at 49 promotion, then do small scale promotion to get over the line. Same strategy is needed when crossing over to the 70 promotion line.

when I get over 50% I try to group my stores. I promote my level 2 stores one day, level 3 stores the second day and level 4 stores the third day. This way I will raise it more carefully and I will also promote some stores every day

Not sure if it is mentioned but this is how much popularity point increases when you use Promotion one by one without opening and closing your stores.

Low Profile Promotion – 3 popularity points
Low Scale Promotion –  5 popularity points
Standard Promotion –  7 popularity points
Large Scale Promotion – 9 popularity points

Content: The excessive promotion of the store has been considered as fake promotion by many guest and has brought negative impact to the store revenue.

anyone knows how large a negative impact this creates? is it something in addition to losing the popularity or just the 5-6% decrease of reveneue from that store caused by the loss of popularity?
In case it's something additional you lose is it then really worth promoting the stores? you gain 5-6% extra reveneue but the promotion itself costs a bit and you risc losing money on it.

I am having trouble making it over 59 on store promotion.  I know that larger is 9, standard is 7, small is 5, and low is 3pts.  Anything I have used that puts it at 60 or higher is a fake promotion.  Do you have any suggestions?

hmm, thank you for the really good post. I had no idea what the over promotion cap was, but i was a little afraid to make my stores higher than like 20. As for percentage, the large package gives me 9% without fail everytime.

I got hit by a fake promotion fine about a couple weeks ago and my store popularity has never been anywhere near the 50% now most of my stores popularity is non existent, even when I do use a promotion the level is almost gone the next day
